A new company was formed in 1981 - Frota Azul, Lda. - as a consequence of the Barraqueiro Group's need to diversify its business to include tourist business, using a fleet of Tourist Coaches and by ensuring a product quality, which gained the preference of the main Portuguese tourist operators and national and foreign travel agents.
FROTA AZUL is a company, which specializes in Domestic Road Passenger Transport and International Road Passenger Transport.

FROTA AZUL has accordingly developed a range of coach rental services to provide its Portuguese and essentially international clients - as this is its main target - with a quality product, which is safe and comfortable and meets the client's needs.
